A storage area network (SAN) is a high-speed special-purpose network (or subnet work) that interconnects different kinds of data storage devices with associated data servers on behalf of a larger network of users. Typically, a SAN is part of the overall network of computing resources for an enterprise.

CNS deploys iSCSI and Fiber Channel over Ethernet as well depending on the needs of the particular application. These SANs will appear as locally attached storage but offer the performance of a disk array. We leverage technologies like NFS and CIFS allowing for any type of server or client to access the SAN.
